Real Time Tape Club is a cassette series of vibe tapes. Each tape is 60 minutes of continuous instrumental vibes; each tape is written and recorded by a different artist and each is duplicated one-by-one in real-time for maximum vibe quality. Rye Fish and Al Sueno's "Serial Color" is volume 10 in the series.
"Serial Color" plays very much like a literal sense of its title. No sonic shade or tincture was off the table. It intentionally unfolds like a soundtrack to an old film. From an outer space spaghetti western to some sprawling English countryside, the jams are soaked in plenty of drones, gadgets and gizmos. It's clean and dirty, it's an optimistic ride. Rye Fish + Al Sueno create a listening experience that is empowering and groovy. Through the course of 60 mins it builds up and tears down a whole myriad of different worlds and moods creating one enormous picture.
